Update on Entry Restrictions to Victorian Residential Care Facilities

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Victoria has done a back flip on their decision to remove the influenza mandates. No surprises there. The powers within are clearly not united. After they clearly sent advice to all the Aged Care Facilities about the Chief Health Officer's decision to remove the mandatory requirement for influenza vaccines and informed staff to return to their workplace, they are know engaging in duplicitous conduct by calling their decision an error and claiming that they will be changing their position again.

It is evident to me that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and that there are internal people working within these organisations who do not agree with each other.

The DHHS spoke to Herald Sun and confirmed that the reasons for its decision to remove the influenza mandates was because there are minimal people who are impacted with the flu this year.

For this reason, we battle on. Making a vaccination, treatment, test etc a requirement in the absence of you being any risk is UNLAWFUL. There are also many risks associated with this year's flu vaccine.

We will continue with our class action, unfazed by their conduct. And we will use their conduct against them as we proceed at Court.

Please don't despair.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DHHS HAS NOT YET COMMUNICATED THEIR BACK FLIP THROUGH THEIR DIRECTIVES. WE HAVE OBTAINED THIS INFORMATION FROM THE SOURCE BELOW.
